Equipment and special features
This heavenly finca was built in 2010 by a Spanish architect according to the wishes of a Swiss family. It consists of a main house and a guest house, a garage, horse stables with riding arena, a swimming pool and a well house on a fully fenced plot of 23'000m². With a beautiful view of the monastery hill of Sant Salvador.
In the cozy main house you live on 375m², fully equipped with very high quality materials, such as terracotta floors, floor heating, fireplace, 3 bathrooms with shower/bathtub and four spacious and Mediterranean bedrooms with built-in wardrobes. The very large living room with fireplace, kitchen with pantry, guest toilet and the cozy outdoor area with a great swimming pool will probably leave nothing to be desired. The kitchen with a modern cooking island was equipped with the latest Miele appliances.
The guest house, which is separate from the main house on the property, invites your nice holiday guests into a complete 2-room flat, i.e. a living room with an open kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom.
And now it's getting exciting, not just to go on holiday to Mallorca, but also to turn your beloved hobby, equestrian sport, into a career. The property has 4 spacious paddock horse boxes in the in-house stable with integrated feed and hay storage room. Large, fenced pastures on 2.3 hectares, as well as a riding arena round off the offer of a horse ranch absolutely perfectly.
The finca is also close to Manacor (Rafa's hometown), further south in Felanitx. The small town of Felanitx is located in the southeast of Mallorca. The community of the same name includes the well-known villages of Ca's Concos des Cavaller, Cala Ferrera, Es Carritxó, S'Horta and the popular port and holiday resort of Porto Colom on a good 170 square kilometers. It takes no more than a quarter of an hour to get to the beach from any part of the town. And there is a large selection of beautiful fincas in Felanitx for every budget. Manacor is the third largest of the municipalities on the island of Mallorca and is located in the east of the Balearic island. It has the status of a city and is at the same time the economic center of the eastern part of the island. The island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world due to the excellent climate, the welcoming towns and the endless possibilities offered by the mountainous and coastal areas.
Sights in Felanitx, especially the colorful Sunday market attracts visitors from all over the region with its wide range. The stalls are grouped throughout the town center around the parish church of Sant Miquel on Plaça Espanya, with its impressive staircase decorated with geometric mosaics made from stream pebbles. At first glance, the sacred building made of warm sandstone seems a bit oversized for such a small town, but the location has a long history: A church was first built on this site as early as 1248. Today's building, whose baroque facade is dominated by a Renaissance portal, a beautiful window rosette and the figure of the namesake Michael as the dragon slayer, dates back to 1762.
Inside the church you can admire the elegant furnishings such as a high altar and an imposing organ as well as the colorful windows. One of the side chapels has a handsome carved altarpiece and chandeliers adorn the ceilings. Art lovers will enjoy the Sant Francesc Chapel, designed by the famous Felanitx master builder Guillem Sagrera, who also built the Stock Exchange (La Llonja) in Palma and the Maritime Exchange in Naples. Opposite the church, a stairway leads downwards, at the end of which there is a fountain, completed in 1930, with the Font de Santa Margalida. The patron saint is honored with a big festival at the end of July every year.
Sanctuary of Sant Salvador.
The 509 m high monastery hill of Sant Salvador with the monastery of the same name, Santuari de Sant Salvador, is located 6 km northeast of Felanitx and can be easily reached via a comfortable serpentine road (formerly a pilgrimage road), which leads past an imposing stone cross and the Stations of the Cross. The first stone of the monastery was laid in 1348 by the administrator of the nearby Castell de Santueri, but the monastery church dates from 1716.
The east coast is close to the sights and just 7km from the finca is Rafael Nadal's tennis academy. Suitable for children and teenagers, but also for adults. There is also a boarding school on the "Rafa Nadal Academy" https://www.rafanadalacademy.com/de, which takes in students every year. This would give children the opportunity to go to school. Rafa Nadal's international school is within easy reach of the finca. Due to the short distance, the facility can even be visited daily within a short time and the children would not have to spend the night in the Academy. The academy with spacious swimming pools and fitness center offers the opportunity for young and old to attend tennis courses or to become a member of the fitness center.
The proximity of the finca to the hospital, schools, sights and shops is perfect. The east coast is only 10 minutes away where some of the most beautiful beaches on the island are found. With a total of 27 kilometers of coastline, the region has numerous beaches that are extremely popular because of their sheltered location in various bays. And at the end or at the beginning of the day you can reach your finca in about 45 minutes from the airport in Palma. It's that simple. Please understand if we ask for proof of funds before a viewing.
