Jürg Grünenfelder - Best Agent in January
Many people hope that 2021 will be more positive than last year. For Jürg Grünenfelder from RE/MAX Immobilien in Glarus, things started out very promisingly. In January he was able to secure the RE/MAX award "Best Agent of the Month". Even if the award doesn't mean that much to him personally, as sustainable success is much more of an acomplishment to him, it is a sign that he is heading the in the right direction with his sales strategy. RE/MAX Switzerland congratulated Jürg Grünenfelder and asked him a few questions about his approach to real estate sales.
Excerpt from the conversation with Jürg Grünenfelder
Jürg, you are the best agent in January! What does this award mean to you?
First, I would like to emphasize that Myriam Rhyner and I work together as a team. I could never be so successful on my own. The “Best Agent of the Month” award has never represented one person per month. It is more important to us that we are sustainably successful as a real estate team in our region.
What motivates you to offer your customers the best possible service every day?
As a real estate agent, the top priority must always be to provide our customers with the best possible support in our sales process. We can only be successful in the long term if we provide a professional and competent experience consitently.
With your professional real estate photos you are a role model for some real estate agents. Where do you see the greatest advantage of high-quality images?
For professional property sales, photography is extremely important in order to sell a property successfully. We not only take pictures with a photographer for all objects including video, we also provide aerial photos and virtual tours. I can no longer imagine myself taking pictures on my own...
Why did you become a real estate agent?
I had to change my job fourteen years ago and found, when I came across the real estate profession, I found it very exciting. So I said to myself: “Let´s try that out for now.”. and in the meantime.. I have been doing it successfully for several years now and very happy with the path I´ve chosen.
Please share with us your best experience so far as a realtor.
It is always a great experience for us when the seller and buyer are satisfied and finally handing over a house.
What else do you want to achieve as a agent?
We would like to continue to support our customers in the region in the best way possible when buying or selling their property. We are convinced that rural areas like the Glarnerland have a lot of potential. Thanks to its proximity to Zurich, it is a very attractive place to live. The last few months have shown us how great people's need is for space and nature. We are therefore looking forward to the future with hopefully many more exciting jobs in our beautiful canton.
What tips would you give other RE/MAX agent who want to become “Best Agent of the Month”?
I don't think the title of "Best Agent of the Month" should be the goal. Consistant serious and professional dedication is much more important. Because you can only have long term success when you have satisfied customers.
