This team seems to be riding a wave of success. RE/MAX Collection Ascona has been awarded the title of Best Office for the second time this year. The team around Robert Marcec and Hans Kreukniet (location manager) is proud to have left the other RE/MAX offices behind once again. But success obviously does not come from nothing - it generally requires a lot of work, a good team as well as the right strategy. We already awarded you the title of “Best Office” in April this year. Now, in June, we are handing over the Best Office certificate once again. What does the award mean to you?
We are very proud to have been awarded the title of Best Office again and to have come out on top of more than 80 offices from all over Switzerland. The award really means a lot! It is proof for our professionalism.
How do you succeed in snagging the award time and again?
We are able to do so because we collaborate so well. Every single member of our team gives their best - both for our customers and the RE/MAX brand. It is our claim that the best is just good enough.
What 3 helpful tips do you have for a franchisee planning on opening a new real estate office?
Our recommendation is to always aim to have a really strong regional network. Obviously, if you want to be successful, location plays a big role too. And on top of everything else, he or she should be willing to invest in his/her employees’ qualification from the get-go - it is something that always pays off in the long run.
In April you mentioned your agents’ professionalism as a crucial factor for success. What constitutes professionalism? What role does ongoing training play?
As already mentioned, it is absolutely important to continuously invest in advanced training in order to keep on top of things. It is the only way for agents to offer the best possible advice and service to their customers. Most customers will consult several agencies and it won’t take long for them to pick the real experts from the ones who work in property part-time. Most customers will obviously want to work with the best.
What advice do you have for property owners toying with the idea of selling?
Our advice is to sell their property through RE/MAX!
What are your wishes for the future?
We wish to keep growing and to keep expanding our presence on the market. Obviously we also wish to keep having as much success as we did in the past 20 years.
