Success should be celebrated. Even in the middle of the crisis. For the first time, the RE/MAX Switzerland Convention and the annual award for the best brokers took place in the digital sphere. A success story across the board.

The pandemic in 2020 was a challenge for the RE / MAX Switzerland agents. “Because many events are missing and many are being worked from home offices around the country, many of us lacked the opportunity to exchange ideas,” says CEO Rainer Jöhl. By the end of the year at the latest, it was clear that the annual RE/MAX Switzerland Convention would not take place in the usual way. “However, we definitely didn't want to miss our social highlight of the year, including the award ceremony,” said Jöhl. "We looked for new ways - and found them."

Virtual knowledge transfer

The convention took place virtually for the first time on February 26, 2021. A challenge and at the same time a huge opportunity: because the brokers experienced an event together that showed them the technological possibilities of today. "The program was interactive, moving and enriching," boasts our enthused Rainer Jöhl. The best practice examples were particularly inspiring. The participants received valuable tips from the most successful brokers from 2020, from partners and suppliers. You learned how the real estate industry as a whole and the industry leader RE/MAX in particular will develop in the next few years. In a live competition, Roland Meyer & Eliane Zur Werra's property was awarded the best listing in 2020. The top international speaker Dietmar Dahmen shared his experiences in the field of digitization with audience members.

Rainer Jöhl is certain: "Our conventions turn good brokers into even better ones." In the end, it is our customers who benefit from this. "With the newly acquired skills, our experts provide incomparable support when buying and selling real estate."

Well-founded training and further education as a recipe for success
