What does the “Best Office of the Month” award in October mean for you ?

This is a great honor for us! We are very proud that as a team we managed to win this title again. We have been “office of the month” several times in the past few years. This is great continual motivation for the entire team all this time. The award also serves as a reward for the hard work invested.

 

What went particularly well in October? How did you (especially during pandemic) beat out the other RE/MAX branches ?

We mainly sell apartments. This makes it difficult to predict how the market will develop. This year we had high demand and that was reflected in the numbers. Due to Corona, we have increasingly relied on virtual property tours. That worked very well! This allows customers to get a good impression of the property before viewing.

 

RE/MAX Switzerland provides its franchise partners with a wide range of tools. Which tool has been most particularly helpful for you and your Team to be successful ?

We have a lot of tools at RE/MAX. Our internal ilist system is extremely helpful for us. The possibility of automatic search requests gives our work an immense boost.

 

What three tips would you give a franchise partner who is new to the real estate market ?

1. The first thing to do is a good market analysis of the region in which you want to work.

2. It pays to start advertising campaigns from the start. As a newcomer, you should show presence at important events and invest in sponsoring.

3. Above all, building a good team is crucial for success. Recruiting is very important! It takes a lot of time, especially in the beginning.

 

At RE/MAX, training is an important success factor in order to be able to advise customers optimally. In which field did you specialize? In what area are you “The” experts ?

With our three offices in various locations, we cover everything from rustico to luxury villas. Our employees have years of experience in the real estate sector. This enables us to advise optimally on every property request. With every deal you learn something new. We also rely on internal synergies and the transfer of knowledge to new brokers in order to build them up as quickly as possible..

 

Which customer contact sticks in your mind the most this month ?

Every real estate agent certainly has a lot of stories to tell. It's always interesting to be able to work with so many different people. The work gives us the opportunity to get a look behind the scenes of individual or families’ lives. That’s why, every property purchase or sale is exciting.

 

What is the market like in your region at the moment?

We are in a fortunate position, the southern canton is currently very popular with German-Swiss customers. As a result, we have a very high demand. We are seeing a clearly positive trend that will certainly continue for a while.

 

What makes you unique as a team?

As a team, we have great cohesion across all offices. Regardless of whether RE / MAX Collection or RE/MAX Residential - we support each other and help each other wherever we can.

 

What do you wish for the future?

That the current positive trend continues and that we can continue to grow. We would like to further expand our position as number one in the region.
